#346 of #365 A Prompt A Day For Bee & #frapalymo prompt 13. May 2015 ~ You

short and sweet today’s prompt and therefore not many words from me either:

( you can find the original German post here)

wow: we can do the “i” for sure! what beautiful texts! now i am curious how you will master the “you”…

and thus the #frapalymo-prompt for the poem on may 13th is: “the you”. is this you in harmony with you, do you rub each other the wrong way, is it strange or distant? i am so curious about your “you’s” after your “i’s”….

and the small print: please let me know via email or Twitter, if you take part. then i can post the link to your blog/poem on Twitter. or post the link in the comments under the daily prompt post on my blog. hashtag for Twitter is #frapalymo and I am @FrauPaulchen.

#345 of #365 A Prompt A Day For Bee & #frapalymo prompt 12 May 2015 ~ I

wow, that was a huge variety of haiku with yesterdays prompt. There was even one with French and one in Italian. #frapalymo has truly become international. How wonderful is that! Thanks Sophie for giving these brilliant prompts! But now over to @FrauPaulchen and today’s prompt:

( you can find the original German post here)

if you have not realised it yet: we are right in the middle of #frapalymo and a good third is over already! congratulations to all! even if you cannot write all prompts or do not want to write some: it is important for me that you have fun and the prompts encourage to write. in any case i read all of your poems with elation and am very very very happy that you take part!

we will have another coupled prompt in this third of #frapalymo as announced and here it is: the prompt for the poem on 12. May is: “the I”. which “I” you will give centre stage and what exactly you emphasise with it is entirely up to you. and of course “the you” is the opposite in this coupled prompt (just in case you want to write them together…)

and the small print: please let me know via email or Twitter, if you take part. then i can post the link to your blog/poem on Twitter. or post the link in the comments under the daily prompt post on my blog. hashtag for Twitter is #frapalymo and I am @FrauPaulchen.

that woman
in your thrall?
serious
so serious
and little girl
is oh so lost
lost so lost
in this life’s

no hope for comforting
or rest
have a peek
you little girl
have a peek
and never lose that
hopeful spell!

I read @FrauPaulchen’s post this morning and wanted to translate it in my break at work but alas not everything works out as it was planned. Never mind.

So today it will be interesting because we’ll get a little fishy ;-):

( you can find the original German post here)

after so much wonderful everyday heroism we are moving on to more awards but we’ll wander into the animal kingdom.

the prompt for the #frapalymo-poem on 10. May 2015 is: “fish of the year 2015: the huchen.” would be nice, if you wouldn’t know what a huchen is either but you can find out here (there is a link in the german post to the german angler society which gave this fish an “award” but there is no english translation and my abilties do not stretch that far. I hope the wikipedia link will do. There is a sentence in the German post which leads to the german wikipedia link but I left this out here). what might inspire you with the topic “huchen” or if you’ll find entirely different ideas is of course again up to you. i am curious to find out about the huchen-interpretations (and will probably never forget this fish).

and the small print: please let me know via email or Twitter, if you take part. then i can post the link to your blog/poem on Twitter. or post the link in the comments under the daily prompt post on my blog. hashtag for Twitter is #frapalymo and I am @FrauPaulchen.

#frapalymo 9. May 2015 ~ everyday heroes/Alltagshelden

You can find the English post here (it is not a translation of the later German part of this post):

#342 of #365 A Prompt A Day For Bee & #frapalymo prompt 9. May 2015

gruesst mich jedesmal
egal, ob der vorherige
Kunde unfreundlich grummelte
und es so darstellte, als seist
Du doof.
Du schuettelst nur
Deinen Kopf ganz fuer Dich selber
und machst eine
mentale Notiz
alles beim
Mittagessen rauszulassen.
Aber ich bin die naechste in der Reihe
und Du beginnst ganz von vorne.
Fuer dies einfache Freundlichkeit
Sollst Du hochleben!
