Hello out there all you lovely people. Have a wonderful week despite everything. Please check out Sadje’s challenge. It’s brilliantly creative:
Welcome back to another Monday prompt post. Rules; You can write a post on your blog and create a pingback to link to the original post. Write an original story, poem or a caption. I will try to reblog your response on my blog. There is no limit to words or format but keep it […]
I am not sure if Livia still does this blog. The last review I saw was from August 2018. But it’s still worth checking the reviews out
How is your writing going? Are you happy with what you create or are you dragging on? Do you need a break and a new read?
Butterfly-O-Meter books ~ giving you the butterflies since 2011
Wow 2011! That is an awful long time for blogging about books, give-aways and what else is out there book related. You might know that I am part of Olivia’s team since spring 2014 and have been welcomed warmly by her and her readers. Once a month I review a book either of my own choosing or one that has applied to be reviewed on her form. And there are great ideas for new reads to find.
Get your book reviewed by Butterfly-O-Meter
If your book does not centre around war itself, self-help or memoirs then you might consider applying for your book to be reviewed on Butterfly-O-Meter. Olivia has a straight forward form which allows you to give all the information and her review policy is clear and helps to avoid misunderstandings.
Find a good read
Sometimes, if the writing does not go well, it is the best to just step away and bury yourself in a good book. Butterfly-O-Meter gives you great YA book tips, adult and mature reads, LGBT, romance, erotica and urban fantasy novels. There surely is something for you to find. There are lots of give-aways as well. Who can resist a book for free????
Take a break ~ take a butterfly 😉
So if you struggle a little and need to get away: Have a peek into Butterfly-O-Meter and find great new reads.
Your favourite book blog?
Curious as I am, I can’t resist on asking you? Which is your favourite book blog? Where do you get the best ideas for reading from and who has helped you to advertise for your book? Am looking forward to hear all about your best tips :-)!
Aber, was solls! Es wäre doch eine Schande, wenn ich das Geschenk zweier Sprachen nicht nutzen wuerde.
Dann muss ich jetzt nur noch rausfinden, was meine deutschsprachigen interessiert. Irgendwelche Ideen????
Just want to wish all of bee’s followers a merry Christmas! I hope you all have a great holiday!
I have only been collaborating on this blog a short time.
I am honoured to be able to do it!
I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas season and a peaceful new year!
Coco J. Ginger used to follow one of my first blogs for which I am very grateful. I just discovered my then “Thank you for following” post and found out she is still blogging. Brilliant! Please find incredibly creative and inspiring posts at Coco J. Ginger and her blog Coco J. Ginger says “Ich liebe Dich”.
I posted this first time in June 2014 on my old blog but it still makes me chuckle…
A few days ago I had to laugh when BBC breakfast spoke about some new words that have been invented. The funniest, in my opinion, was the “felfie” which is a selfie made by a farmer.
Now I have no idea why such a selfie needs an extra word. Maybe it helps the poor sods to get a girlfriend or wife. Who knows.
Choosing a picture today
Looking at my pictures today and wondering which one I could use for this post I ended up on one of the rare ones I make. I am not too much a fan of having pictures of myself. To be honest, I am not too much a fan of having anyone’s pictures on the internet.
Not a fan of selfies
It seems to me quite dangerous for one when it is children with all those paedophiles around for another because people make all sorts of nasty things with it. So I rather use pictures of objects or landscapes than people.
Sometimes though I make one myself
But every so often I make one of myself. I took this one in winter when we went back to Happisburgh beach for the first time after the storms. It was a hard time for me as some of my demons had re-emerged over Christmas and my mental health was deeply impacted.
The beach a good place to make one
Going to the beach was very soothing though. I always feel happy and relaxed when I am at the beach and the sea no matter my mental state. Even better for me now that I live so close to the sea. That is one of my teenage dreams come true. Today I started to wonder though if you could call this a “belfie”
A bloggers selfie 🙂
this is NOT on the beach 😉 ~ I can’t find the original belfie 🙂

Blimey, those were the days when properly famous people followed me. Unfortunately, I could not find her blog anymore but her page does still exist. Somewhat differently though. Please check it out anyway 🙂 .
