In the 19th century, a famous party game asked guests to answer a list of questions in the host’s guestbook. Marcel Proust answered it twice in his life and after a while, it got accredited to him.
A similar questionnaire is regularly seen on the back of Vanity Fair answered by celebrities. They even launched an interactive version in 2009. The magazine of the German newspaper FAZ asks celebrities for years to answer it too.
I have used this questionnaire for some fun on one of my old blogs, but have also invited former guests from “The Bee Talks With…” to answer it. This way they can show what they have been up to since their last visit to “The Bee Writes…”. Amongst others, EM Kaplan, author of the “Josie Tucker Mysteries”, & Alina Adams, author of “Oakdale Confidential”, have answered it so far.
But you can do it too!
I offer free exposure for your book and/or blog not only on my blog but also on my social media. Feel free to answer the questions and send the questionnaire to me via firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Proust” and I give you a shout-out post on “The Bee Writes…”. Please send pictures and anything you want me to advertise for (your blog, your book, your social media, your campaign, your music…) too.
But if you want to use it on your own blog: please go ahead and have fun!
