Blast from the Past: #257 of #365 A Prompt A Day For Bee ~ Love Is a Battlefield

If you grew up in the ’70s and 80’s you might remember Pat Benatar and her song “Love Is A Battlefield”. I loved it when I was 13 even though I did not really understand the meaning of it. 32 years later I know a lot more about love and the battlefields in it and my prompt on “Love Is In Da Blog” is exactly about that.

  1. I grew up a full generation earlier, in the ’50s and 60s … the Era of Civil Rights, Motown, MLK, etc., and while I remember Pat Benetar, cannot recall ever hearing this song. Not quite my cup o’ tea, I’m afraid. Still … πŸ™‹

    • Thats fair enough. I think some songs were more popular than others in different parts of the world. It was a huge hit in Germany and I certainly learned that love can be a Battlefield but doesn’t need to be. Have a wonderful new week despite everything πŸ˜šπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ
