Blast from the Past: #233 of #365 A Prompt A Day For Bee ~ Creepy Cat

This post was first published in January 2015

I never believed that cats are creepy. Even though I am as taken by dogs as by cats I have a slight tendency to prefer cats. Until I saw this tweet: (the account was suspended. I don’t know why so no tweet to show for anymore. Sorry)

Good heavens, that freaked me out!

  1. There has long been a cultural/literary association between cats and the occult, I think, and many myths, such as those surrounding black cats. We have five at the moment, all rescues, and have had as many as ten at one time, and I may find them ornery and annoying sometimes, I may yell and threaten murder on occasion, but nothing creepy about them. I think I trust them more than most humans these days! πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‹

    • I fully agree, even tbough I have experienced very creepy cats. Our neighbours old cat literally looked and behaved evil. Taunted our dog who isnt fond of cats. Well, she is but in a rather ex-racer kind of way which wouldn’t bode well for any cat. In spiritual terms cats are guides to the mystery and unseen world and that is why some Christian paths considered them evil. But each to their own… have a lovely Sunday πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸπŸˆπŸ±

      • 🀣🀣 They definitely CAN be creepy, and it is their sworn obligation to torment dogs (and sometimes humans). You too, my friend, even though Sunday is already finished on your side of the pond and almost on mine! πŸ™‹
