Good heavens, I am still integrating blog posts…
Since last month I am integrating my old blog posts into this blog and I have come across some that I want to re-post. Sorry, I know I repeat myself and I hope you can bear with me.
I came across this one and it made me wonder why I am still worried about the same topic as four years ago. I’d love to do three or four posts a day, however, time does not always allow it. And in tune with last weeks post, I’ve decided to just let it go and post whatever.
Over the past year, I have come to wonder if I have a bit of an OCD streak in me when it comes to my blog. I repeat myself and worry about the same things which really do not matter in a blog. It’s mine, I can do what I want with it and it is not that I blog for a company or something. So just let it go! And so I do, I think, at least…..
Sorry to all “Frozen”-traumatized parents in my readership!!!!!
How is your writing going? Are you pressing ahead with your goals and ideas or are you lacking behind? Do you have good books, blogs or other creatives which/who guide you along? Or do you feel you are all alone? Well, I hope not.
I, of course, had a break, but now my dear readers, “Good Morning Writers!” is back!
Reflections on my blogging schedule
When I had that forced break two weeks ago due to viruses on the laptop and my low blood pressure I had some time to reflect on my blogging. As much as I love it, there is a life to live and a holiday is coming up so I had to figure out how to deal with both.
Allowed myself a Break of two Weeks
I did not want to budge from my goal to do 3 posts a day as it feels like the right choice for this blog. Therefore I decided to allow a break of two weeks to blog ahead and schedule two weeks worth of blog posts to get myself a proper break. Am not sure yet how I deal with “A Prompt A Day For Bee” though.
What to do with APADFB (A Prompt A Day For Bee) in our Holidays?
The idea was, of course, to write a poem a day with prompts I get from my dear readers and fellow creatives. So far I have planned to stay off the internet for the full two weeks of my holiday which would mean to either cheat with APADFB and pre-write it or to write a poem a day and post it later as I have done with the forced break in June. What do you suggest I should do?
PS.: Since I wrote this post more pondering about my writing schedule has happened. I decided to rather have fewer posts but written longer and with more effort. Also, we had to cancel our holidays so #APromptADayForBee won’t be a problem. Still, feedback is much appreciated :-).
