Lean against… and listen ~ In Shadows, We Won’t Be Anymore

So the other week I said, that I am looking forward to writing new posts and not “just” incorporating my old ones. I also wrote that I want to get this incorporating done first. I am now down to 2286… I am getting there ๐Ÿ˜‰

So here a new little story written via this great writing prompt:

I quote Kasey Mathews from the WANA group โ€œWrite to healโ€ for this writing prompt:
โ€œWith paper and pen, or computer handy, lean back in your chair, or against the wall, or a sofa etc., close your eyes and imagine you are sitting under a large tree with your back resting against the trunk. On the other side of the tree, a Storyteller has come to sit down and also rest against the tree trunk. With eyes still closed, just listen. Wait for the Storyteller to begin his or her story. When you hear it begin, simply write down all that you hear. โ€œ

Description for visually impaired readers: Sandy beach with sea in background. In middle shadow of Bee standing behind greyhound Sherky

In shadows, we won’t be anymore.

As the sun rises behind the rocks after millennia of darkness the souls of all cheer. Slowly their voices take over the sound of joy and hope. They sing into being homes for every single soul on this planet. They sing into being schools for every single ability on this planet.

They sing into being work that sustains everybody and everything. Work that doesn’t drain but is in line with the worker’s values and talents. They sing into being leaders of high integrity who have learned to respect not only each other and those whom they serve but also this planet and all its beings.ย They sing into being fresh air, clean water and seasons soft to the growth of healthy food.

They sing into being religions and spirituality which truly support human development. They sing into being followers who truly listen and follow the guidelines of their philosophy. They sing into being scholars who teach and hear.

They sing into being love accepted in all its forms. They sing into being wisdom and support. They sing into being our future worth living.

And suddenly we realise the darkness was an illusion. We could have had it all from the beginning…
