As promised… 2 ~ translated #frapalymo

…. I am translating another poem that takes part in #frapalymo.

Marlies Blauth is a wonderful artist who does not only write poetry but also takes pictures and draws. Her blog Kunst| Marlies Blauth is worth a look even if you do not understand German.

You can find her fourth poem for this year’s May #frapalymo here. I asked on the first #frapalymo day on Twitter if my fellow #frapalymoists in Germany mind me translating their poems and Marlies said that would be fine, so I take the opportunity and go for it again :-).

Description for visually impaired readers: bottom of picture harvested field, line of trees and bushes over it. Most of picture is blue sky with light white clouds

In| Spring 4

i see it well
the honey rain
amber dripples
through the air
sometimes i fear
these are the last
tinges for me
in golden yellow
the sweet thunderstorm
could soon only
glaze
my naked feet
noticeable and invisible
life is glued to me
i stand in the light
and hope
